Before the Eurythmics hit big in with "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)", they had an inconspicuous debut with "In The Garden". There was nothing here that hinted at what the duo would go on to become, but there is a blueprint for their cold asthetic and bitterness (which set them apart from their contemporaries at the time and still continues to set them apart today)/5(77).

Cause if it had, we wouldn't have gotten the stripped down brilliance of the "Sweet Dreams" album. "In the Garden" is dense and has a very unique sound to it, very different than anything else Eurythmics has done. "Your Time Will Come" by the the high point, or "Revenge", or maybe "All the Young (people of today)" with that awesome organ swirl.
