This recent release of Eric Clapton is a big time improvement over the hip hop fused and drum machine laden Pilgrim release. Eric does explore a few cachy pop music styles and does play afew captivating solos here and there. However, there is not enough heavy guitar sounds. Superman Inside is a rare moment of Eric letting loose and cranking some amp/5().

Questo diceva Eric Clapton a proposito dell'album “Reptile”. In realtà, in comune con quell’esperienza, a parte buona parte dei musicisti, non si colgono grandi affinità/5(83).

Reptile is one of the more interesting albums of Clapton's career. I feel that by the type of music on the album that Clapton is going through a nostalgic period in his life. The album opens with a spunky instrumental of "Reptile which he did in his live show.

Pilgrim is the thirteenth solo studio album by the British rock musician Eric Clapton, released on 10 March for Reprise Records. The album features all-new studio-recorded material, the first to do so since Clapton's hit album Journeyman and was nominated for several music awards. Although most of the critics responded negatively to the studio effort, it was one of Clapton's.
